Drug problem in Mexico now expanding
One thing they understand is how to take over a region they see ripe for the taking. The drug gangs have even gotten into religion to solidify their base.
The gangs have intimidated some Indian communities into dropping traditional Holy Week Catholic Church rites to worship Jesus Malverde, the patron saint of the drug runners.
