AZ Congressman Hayworth (R): Bags the Boogey

Guest-worker plan a mockery of U.S. principles. Before we even consider a guest-worker plan, we need to try getting the situation under control.

Pressure Mexico to stop encouraging its people to break our laws and instead unshackle its economy so that it can provide decent jobs at livable wages to a growing population.

Mrs. Doster dove for the 9mm pistol she kept near the register and began firing. "I just started shooting," she said. "I was trying to blow his brains out is what I was trying to do."

By the time the police arrived, just five minutes later, both gunmen were down and pronounced dead on the scene. According to the officials, the Dosters were acting in self-defense and won't be charged.

Mexico : Going for US Dinero

The latest example is an apparent campaign to bring down Arizona's new Proposition 200 illegal-immigration law -- a set of measures to limit distribution of public benefits to illegals -- even if it means going to international courts. In December, Mexico's Foreign Ministry announced a "complete rejection" of Prop. 200.

Travel to Mexico: End in D E A T H

What would make the chief financial officer for the City of Phoenix do something so bizarre?

One theory is a parasite doctors believe he caught on a trip to Mexico several years earlier. The bug can live for years inside the body, travel to the brain and cause seizures and hallucinations symptoms Keogh started suffering a few months after his trip.

Rush for the Border

On Friday Rush Limbaugh, a staunch Bush supporter … warn the president… that he faced conservative opposition on some key issues that could hurt his chances of passing the rest of his second-term agenda.

First was federal spending, which "is surging out of control,"…..
The other was immigration, which, Limbaugh told his listeners, …

"We cannot maintain our sovereignty without securing and protecting our borders in an era where terrorists around the world seek entry to this country".

Critics Pressure Mexico

Federal ProsecutorAuthorities say 340 women have been killed over the past 12 years in Juarez, a city of about 1.3 million people across the border from El Paso, Texas.

About 100 of those slayings appear to fit a pattern where a young, slender woman was sexually assaulted, strangled, and dumped in the desert outside Juarez....

the state officials who initially handled the crimes were inept and corrupt. ...

Travel Alert Concerns Mexico Businesses

"In this city there is always a scandal, but an alert by the U.S. government is going to scare more people away," said Silvia Enriquez, who owns a pharmacy across from the Santa Fe international bridge.

Still, some Mexican business owners were angered by the alerts and said the United States needs to do more than just point the finger.

"The U.S. is always talking about how Mexico is the springboard for illegal drugs but they fail to mention they are the swimming pool," said Hugo Alvarado, a dentist who has a clinic half a block away from the El Paso del Norte international bridge.
